Ogun Traditional Ruler Complements Government Efforts, Donates Solar Power Systems To Communities

Ogun first class Traditional ruler and the Olu of Itori Egbaland,  His Royal Majesty,  Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo in his efforts to complement Ogun Government’s drive to light up all communities in the state, The monarch donates solar systems to not less than 22 communities under his watch in the Ewekoro local Government area of the State.

The Kabiyesi took this kind gesture to almost all the villages in his Itori Ewekoro domain, acknowledging the need for corporate bodies, Traditional rulers and individuals to synergies in solving the multifacet problems confronting the people.

Oba Akamo said, in the spirit of celebrating the second year in office and the 61st birthday of the Executive Governor of Ogun State who is dedicated and committed to transforming the lives of all and sundry, he has decided to show his kind appreciation of the Governor by solving part of the numerous problems of the people in the same spirit of sportsmanship and partnership with the Governor.

Kabiyesi said, our Governor has been working around the clock to bring succor to the people, He has built roads which were thought could not come to light in another three decades. In fact, we need this same devotion and dedication to work from other Governor’s in Nigeria, Kabiyesi opined.

During the presentation of the solar power systems to the 22 communities, the village heads and community leaders eulogied the Olu of Itori who has done this donation and great gesture for and on behalf of the Governor of Ogun State.
They rated the monarch as one of the best in Yorubaland who committed his life and wealth in the pursuit of development and greater life for the people.

In the final words of the Monarch, He congratulates and felicitates with the Goveror of Ogun State,  Omoba Dapo Abiodun MFR on his 61st birthday and second year in office as the best event that has happened to Ogun State.  He wishes the Govenor many more years of greatness and good health to take Ogun State to the land of promise.
