The Chairman of Irọrun Movement and leading Chairmanship Aspirant of Abeokuta North Local Government, Engr. Tajhdeen Ọlálékan Ishola, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to kemta the residence of the late Hon Olumide Biyi.
Ishola and his team members commiserated with the family of the late leader who died this week in faraway United state, he encouraged the family to find solace in the good life lived by the departed.
The chairman irorun movement urged the deceased family members to take solace in the fact that the late leader gave his all in the service of God and humanity.
He further stated Uncle Biyi was not only a political mentor to him but a true blood brother and a strong advocate of his chairmanship aspirations.
“This is not a time to play politics, but carry out extensive self evaluation, try to be good always, get closer to our God and ensure we use every single opportunities with the assumption it would be our last minutes, he said
“Uncle Biyi informed of his trip to celebrate thanksgiving in the United States with his family , we agreed to meet by Xmas /new year , today he is left us to go and peacefully be with God.”
“No doubt that uncle Biyi’s personality was larger than life. His death has left a void, not only in leadership, but also in the hearts of all of us, who are his associates. He was a detribalised Abeokuta North citizen and a true gateway born leader”
